What is the cost of the course and how do I pay?

The cost of the USA Driver Safety Course
provided by WebTrafficSchool.com is $39.95. You can pay immediately using a Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. You may also pay by mailing a check or money order to:

How long do I have to complete the course?
WebTrafficSchool.com allows up to 180 calendar days to complete the 6-hour course from the time you register. The course is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
 

Will this course dismiss a traffic ticket?
Yes, the course will help to dismiss a traffic ticket, granted that you have received approval with your court to take a defensive driving course for the purpose of ticket dismissal. Approval from the court must be received regardless of which type of course you take.

Will this course help me receive a discount on my auto insurance?
Yes it will depending on your insurance company. Most insurance companies offer discounts of 10% for completing the course. Upon course completion, you will receive a state issued Certificate of Completion that includes a copy for your insurance company. You will receive this copy if you are taking the course for a ticket or if you are taking the course for insurance only. Please check with your insurance agent to see if they offer this discount.

What are validation questions?

USA Driver Safety Course provided by WebTrafficSchool.com uses three types of validation questions:

>> Personal validation questions:

During the course you will be asked personal validation questions provided by a 3rd party company. If you answer any of these questions incorrectly, you will be locked out of the course. You will need to call a customer service representative who will determine if you may continue with the course.

>>  Movie and content validation questions:

During a movie or in the middle of a section you will be asked content validation questions based on material just seen. If you answer any of these questions incorrectly, you will be locked out of the course. You will need to call a customer service representative who will determine if you may continue with the course.

>> Course validation questions:

Our course is divided in to 9 sections followed by the Final Exam. At the end of each section you will be asked 6 review questions. If the total of incorrectly answered questions adds up to six, you will be locked out of the course and will need to call our customer service representative who will determine if you may continue with the course.


Is this site secure for transmitting credit card information over the Internet?

Yes, due to the sensitive nature of credit card transactions, WebTrafficSchool.com uses a secure site for your credit card information.



How do I know if I'm qualified to take the course?
If you are taking this course to dismiss a traffic ticket, you must receive approval from the court prior to taking this course.

Is this course state approved?
Yes! USA Driver Safety Course provided by WebTrafficSchool.com is approved by the Texas Education Agency. Our school license number is C1552. You may contact the Texas Education Agency at (512) 936-6777.

What are the requirements for successful completion?
In order to pass the course you must:

>> Attend the full 6-hour course

>> Do not attempt to circumvent the course

>> Accurately answer course content and personal      validation questions

>> Score a 70% or better on the final exam


What if I score below a passing grade of 70% on the Final Exam?

If you score too low on your final examination, you will be allowed to retake the final exam one more time. You will be able to review the course material online and then retake your final examination over the phone with a state licensed instructor.


How will I receive my Certificate of Completion?

Upon graduation, your certificate will be mailed to you. If you do not choose an express delivery option, please allow at least 7 business days for delivery (Standard Mail - US Postal Service).


Once I receive my Certificate of Completion what do I do next?
Your certificate will contain one copy for the court and one copy for insurance. The court copy must be presented to the court as indicated on your citation. It is suggested that the court copy be hand-delivered or sent certified mail, return receipt requested. If you wish to use the insurance copy for a discount on your automobile policy, contact your insurance agent.

Keep copies for your records.


What happens if I get disconnected?
On rare occasions, course service interruption may occur as a result of system, site, or connectivity failure. WebTrafficSchool.com constantly tracks each student's progress. Simply reconnect and log back into the course. You will start on the segment you left off and your progress will not be affected.
 

 
Can I start the course at one location and continue at another?
You can access the course from any location that has Internet access.

The course is divided into 9 sections (followed by the Final Exam), which are further broken down into various topics and slides.

You don't have to complete all of the sections at once. Do as many as you like and when you come back, you will be taken to the last topic and slide visited.

You will also be allowed to review any of the topics that you have completed.

How does the Final Exam work?
The Final Exam is the last section of the USA Driver Safety Course provided by WebTrafficschool.com. It consists of 20 multiple-choice questions of which you need to answer 14 correctly (70%) in order to pass.

If you score too low on your final examination, you will be allowed to retake the final exam one more time. You will be able to review the course material online and then retake your final examination over the phone with a state licensed instructor.
